Psychology Chapter 13

In the lecture, Oedipus was talked about a little. He killed his father and slept with his mother. It was an example of the "it". "It" wants this and "it" that. Oedipus wanted to be with his mother and his father was in the way. This is a form of incest.
Personality has a lot to do with behavior and reward/punishment. If you are rewarded for doing something good, you will continue to act and do that certain behavior. If you are punished when you do something bad, like swear, you will not swear again because you know that you will get punished for it. Of course, there are some people who can't or don't take a clue and learn. They will continue to get punished.
