Birth Order

I am the youngest of two. My sister is five years older than me. That is a bit a of gape. My sister is very protective of me. If someone threatens me or calls me bad names, my sister will get into their face.

If I were the oldest in my family, I would also be very protective of my younger siblings.

If I were a boy but still the youngest, I would not be all that different. I was raised with my male cousins. I would still wear jeans. My room might still look a little like the same.

I never want children. All I have to do is look at my sister and myself. I just shudder.

Thinking and Language

Does different types of languages affect our way of things?
In the English language, you say what you mean. In other languages, you can say one thing and mean something completely different. You have to look into the context sometimes to understand what a person is saying.
People who are not big talkers can be very smart. But the problem is that some people think that people who don't talk are not smart. That is basically saying that you have to talk to be smart.

Talking or Not

Animals have their own way. Although they don't form words, they talk with their body and sounds that they make. A wolf talks with its eyes. A dog that is the leader of a pack, it will walk around slowly and it fur will be standing up on end if you get a new dog. It showing the new dog who is boss. It has something to do the eyes.
Elephants use their trunks and low rumbles to communicate with other elephants. I don't quite understand animal communication but it is very interesting.

MY HEAD IS SPINNING

When they asked you to light the candle, it was like a miracle to you were able to do it so quickly. Hello, some of us have been lighting candles for a long time. It was not hard at all to figure out that they wanted you to light a candle.
Some of the Rs took a few more seconds to figure out if they were backwards or normal. My line on the graph was off the top. That must mean that I was good. Most of the exercises took me only a few hundreds microseconds.

THREE DAY WEEKEND

I did not do one of my blogs last week. I ran out of time. At least I now have something to write about. On Friday, when I woke up, I was so sick. I could barley go out to the barn and do my chores. It was a miracle that my sister was home and she let me sleep until we had to go to Ladysmith for an appt.
We go to the chiropractor almost every Friday. She just makes us feel so much better. She got rid of my headache right away by resetting my neck.
I hate when I wake up and I am sick. I am always better by that night. What really bugs me is that I can never get any homework
done.

DNA OR EYE WITNESS

I watched the video about the woman who was raped and she put the wrong man into prison. it is scary to think that our memory can be so faulty. I mean, this woman studied her attacker so that she would be able to identify him later and get him off of the streets. This goes to show you that we can be wrong even though we think that we are 100% correct.
Thompson and Cotton are now very good friends. They travel around telling attorneys and detectives their story.

Memory Gone Gone

Memory always us to remember important events. Memory helps shape us into who we are today. Through memories we remember the ones that we one and care about. Life would be black. We could not remember our family and friends. We could not go to school because we could not remember anything was taught to us. Clive Waring is a lost man because if he has no memories then he has no purpose in life. Yes because if you build up enough short term memory, it will be moved to long term memory. I do see my memories different. They can be lost so easily. You should be able to trust your own memories. However, your mind will make up things to fill in blank spots.
If you were ever in something traumatic like a car accident or bank robbery and later tried to remember the event, you would find that you would only remember very little of it. This is important because when something takes you by surprise or happens very fast, you can't remember it.

Life

It is not fun to get thrown off of a horse. I went horseback riding on Wednesday. I was out in one our fields when something spooked my horse. She went one direction and I went the other direction. She stood by me for a few minutes and then she took off back to the barnyard where the other horses were. I never ride with a saddle. The only time that I use a saddle is when I ride our Percheron gelding. He does not like to be ridden and will buck you off. This is not the first time I have been thrown from a horse.

No Pain No Gain

Pain does help us. It tells us when we have done too much and our bodies cannot handle it. It tells us when to take it easy. We we could never feel pain, we might just work ourselves to death. I once read this book about a woman who could take people's pain with her touch. She met a guy in a bar who use to be an assassin and had been taken prisoner and tortured to within an inch of his life. The doctors did not take his pain away completely because his body was still healing. She took his pain away completely. He ends up getting into a fist fight with his brother. His brother punches him in the chest and breaks something. The woman can heal people but she would go into a coma if she tried too hard.

Psychology Chapter 7

I did not find anything interesting about this chapter. I was full of theories and I hate theories. An example of conditioning is how we answer questions that ask our opinion. When we answer question using our thoughts, we get them marked wrong because that was not the answer that the teacher was looking for. Teachers tell us to be free thinkers. but when we do, we are punished for it.
